Assalamualaikum my sugar plumps readers!


An italian recipe, and it is goood if you are doing Atkins Diet..

No bread. Just meat! yes.. MEAT!

Ingredients


Base/Crust

  • minced meat in a tube (Saudi/Ramli)
  • 1 bulb of bombay onion (small size)
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese 
  • pinch of salt and ground pepper
  • Some italian herbs, basil, oregano (I used dried, if possible use the fresh one, but dried can do!)
in a bowl, mix all of the ingredient above, torn the cheddar cheese into smaller pieces. And marinate it for one night or at least 3 hours so that the ingredients are mixed evenly, and let the aroma from the herbs to fuse with the minced meat.



Tomato Sauce:
  • For a medium size meatzza, about 4-5 tomatoes should be okay.
  • 1 medium size bombay onion (cubed)
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • pinch of salt
Put all the ingredient in a food processor until finely, if you want some chunks here and there it would be fine..

  • Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon of butter
  • When the liquid butter starts to bubble, pour in the tomatoes
  • add some ground pepper (optional)
  • stir once in awhile until it evaporates
  • add in 1/2 cup of chicken stock or just plain water. (chicken stock brings the taste)
  • add in some salt (opt)
  • put the tomato sauce aside
you can see the initial line


  • When the meat is ready, add 1 beaten egg, mix it together and spread it out on the pizza pan, put it in an oven with 180 degrees Celsius to 200 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes.
  • Let it cool in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
  • Pour the tomato sauce on top of the meat base.
  • the topping is up to you (for AD, make sure the total carbs is no more than 20g carbs per day for induction)
  • Put it in the oven for 10 minutes or until it is cook.
